Both speakers took turns with Milan presenting a concept in English and then Zhonglei presenting it in Chinese. At the end, the audience demonstrated the success of the session by asking insightful questions and staying afterwards to follow up with the speakers. The presentation received one of the highest evaluation scores out of the 60 sessions of the day.

Milan gave a presentation on building applications using MOSS 2007 Excel Services and lead a hands-on lab on the same subject. The session demonstrated how to use the Excel Web Service to programmatically pass parameters into an Excel workbook online, recalculate the workbook, then read the calculated values out of the workbook. The topic also included building dynamic data queries through ODC connections and creating User Defined Function assemblies.

This was a 400-level topic which covered best practices for deploying workflows and customizations to a SharePoint 2007 farm through templates, features, and solutions. The session was packed to the point of standing-room only in the hall many attendees stayed afterwards to ask detailed questions which Ishai and Milan were more than happy to answer.
