Salary: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

 

Job Description:

Synergy is seeking a customer facing, IT Engineer / Solutions Specialist. The ideal candidate should be highly energetic, proactive, have a thirst for knowledge, a love of technology, be a team player and have excellent intrapersonal communication skills.

This role will be responsible for providing technical and integration support to our customers (primarily remote but occasionally on-site in the tri-state area). If you are motivated to learn and expand your existing IT skills and expose yourself to a wide range of technologies, we are happy to provide you with ongoing ‘on the job’ training to take your career further.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Supporting new and ongoing customer projects including service requests, onboarding of new users, offices and acquisitions mostly relating to the Microsoft 365 stack.

  • Administration and support of Microsoft 365 in addition to application support, acting as the external supplier liaison to help resolve internal customer issues.

  • Assisting proactively with alerts from a variety of monitoring tools and actioning repeat issues to identify resolve ongoing trends.

  • Supporting our client's issues related to both Hardware and Software, including general Help-desk administration, monitoring and reporting

  • Customer Relationship management

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (at least 4+ years) in the field

  • Working knowledge of:

    • Microsoft 365 (administration, user management)

    • Windows Server OS

    • Microsoft Windows for desktop

    • Legacy On-Prem Active Directory

    • Azure AD

    • Microsoft Office 365 Suite

  • Build experience of end user workstations (HP, Dell, Desktop, Laptops, Printers, Scanners, etc.)

  • Network Troubleshooting experience - TCP/IP and general WAN/LAN troubleshooting

  • Ability to demonstrate competence in desktop/end-user support, understanding what it means to work within contracted Service Levels and provide excellent customer service to users

  • Demonstrated excellent time management skills

  • Strong written and verbal communications

  • Ability to solve practical problems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current industry related certification/s or working towards certification such as:

    • Microsoft 365 related certifications

    • CompTIA A+/N+ a positive

    • Datto

  • Experience working on Mac OS
