Salary: $38,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year

 

Job Description:

Synergy is seeking a customer facing, team player with excellent communication skills to join the Synergy service desk as an IT Support Technician.

This position is responsible for providing service desk support to our diverse customer base (by remote from our office/by phone, but occasionally on-site within the tri-state area). If you are energetic, with a love of technology, have a thirst for knowledge and are motivated to learn and grow your IT skills, we are happy to provide you with training to take your career further.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Working as a part of the fast-paced support desk team, supporting diverse customer issues while working tickets in an organized manner, meeting our response and resolve times.

  • Working a rotating 10x4 shift (10 hours a day, 4 days a week, with the 5th day off).

  • Excellent customer service skills are key.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (1-2 years+) in the field or appropriate qualification in lieu of real-world experience.

  • Ability to demonstrate competence in desktop/end-user support, understanding what it means to work within contracted Service Levels and provide excellent customer service to end users

  • Experience working with and supporting Microsoft Office 365

  • Demonstrated excellent time management skills

  • Strong written and verbal communications

  • Ability to solve practical real world problems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with a ticketing system

  • Experience working hands on with both Hardware and Software

  • Some tenant level administration experience with Microsoft 365 and/or other comparable toolsets.

  • Current industry related certification/s or working towards certification such as:

    • Microsoft related certifications

    • CompTIA A+/N+ a positive

  • Working knowledge of:

    • Microsoft Windows for desktop

    • Laptops, Printers and Scanners

    • Basic Network Troubleshooting
